This is a standalone product. No other Caverna product is required to play.
In Caverna - Cave vs Cave, you are standing in front of a mountain with a large hollow, the new home of your little dwarf tribe. There is a lot of work waiting for you, but there are only two pairs of helping hands. Get to work quickly! Cave the mountain, set up one cavern after another and collect resources. Look for precious metals and gain such wealth that the other tribe cannot even dream of!
-The game is played over eight rounds, so time is of the essence!

In Caverna: Cave vs Cave – Era II – The Iron Age, the players start exploring a side cave abundant in ore. Donkeys help them move the ore to the surface so that they can cast iron and forge weapons out of it — to protect their cave from anyone who wishes it harm, of course.
